Our portfolio is growing: Delivery Driver, a new app from PepperTools, is now available in the Apple App Store and on Google Play. Delivery Driver proves every delivery with a photo, the time, the place and a signature. The app is built for parcel, courier and food delivery drivers who want a record of what they handed over.

You drop off parcels all day. When one goes missing, the question comes weeks later: where did you leave it? This app answers it. Photograph the drop-off, scan the barcode, have the recipient sign, done.

What Delivery Driver does

Recording a stop

  • Details burned into the image: date, time, GPS, address, logo and your own lines
  • Scan the barcode with the camera or type the number
  • Choose the drop-off point: front door, garage, garden, neighbour with a name, handed over in person or nobody home
  • A signature with a finger on the screen, plus the name of the person who took the parcel
  • Several photos per stop, for example the parcel, the drop-off point and the label
  • Mark a shipment as damaged and find all damaged ones again later
  • No photo possible? Then without one. The app still records the time and the place

After you save, the camera is ready again straight away. The next stop needs no detour.

Your photo, your stamp

You decide what gets printed into the image and switch between your templates while you work: date and time, with the weekday and seconds if you want, GPS coordinates in decimal or in degrees, minutes and seconds, your company logo as well as fixed text and lines you fill in after the shutter. The app takes the address from the GPS coordinates, so you do not type it.

The stamp belongs to the image, it does not sit on top as a layer. Whoever receives the photo sees it.

Reports and numbers

  • A daily report as a PDF: every stop of the day with time, place, drop-off point and signature
  • Send it by email or messenger, share it or print it
  • Counters for today, this week, this month and last month

That helps when a customer asks, when your client wants proof or when you need your day in black and white.

  • Search by tracking number, place or note
  • Filters for today, 7 days, 30 days or everything
  • Share a single stop, switching the photo, the data and the signature on or off separately

A timestamp that counts

Every stop carries a timestamp that the app checks against internet time. The record therefore shows whether the device clock was right, not only what it happened to display.

Everything stays on your phone

Delivery Driver is built for one driver, not for a fleet. There is no dispatcher, no sign-up and no server.

  • No account, no registration, no upload to a cloud
  • The app runs without a connection, a basement stairwell is no problem
  • You decide when photos disappear: after 30, 60, 90, 180 or 365 days, or never
  • Nothing lands in your photo library, everything stays in the app
  • Maintenance in the settings deletes records older than a term you choose, after showing you how many there are and how much storage they use
  • No ad networks. The app shows a list of our own apps only, and only when you open it

The app asks for the camera to take photos and read barcodes, and for the location to record where a stop was. Nothing else.

Availability
