Privacy Policy — Paul & Lenny Racing
Last updated: 27 August 2026
1. Controller
The provider named in the legal notice
is responsible for processing personal data in this app. For privacy questions,

2. In short
Paul & Lenny Racing is a single-player racing game. You do not need an account
and you never sign in. Your progress, settings and best times stay on your
device. If you sign in to Game Center or Google Play Games, the app
additionally backs up your save game to your player account with Apple or
Google (section 7).
Data leaves your device in four cases only: for ads, for a purchase, when you
send us feedback yourself, and when you voluntarily sign in to Game Center or
Google Play Games. Each case is described below.
3. Data on your device
The app stores locally:
- progress, unlocks, best times and coins
- settings such as language, volume and controls
- a technical log file used for troubleshooting
The app does not transmit this data — with one exception: while you are signed
in to Game Center or Google Play Games, the app backs up your save game to your
player account (section 7). The local data is removed when you delete the app.
4. Advertising
The app shows ads through Google AdMob, provided by Google Ireland Limited,
Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
What is processed: your device advertising identifier (Android: Advertising
ID, iOS: IDFA), your truncated IP address, device type, operating system
version, approximate location at country level, and which ad you saw or tapped.
Purpose: delivering and billing ads, fraud detection and reach measurement.
Consent: On first launch the app asks whether you allow personalised ads. If
you decline, you still see ads, but without personalisation. You can change your
choice at any time in the app settings under Privacy settings. On iOS, the
operating system also asks whether the app may track you across apps.
Optional reward videos: After a failed attempt you can watch a video ad to
keep driving. That is always your choice. Without the video the game continues
normally.
Legal basis: your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. For non-personalised ads
we rely on our legitimate interest in funding the app, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

5. Purchases
You buy coin packs and the unlock directly from the App Store or Google Play.
Apple and Google handle the payment. We receive neither your payment details nor
your name or address.
Apple and Google notify our server api.peppertools.de of every purchase and
refund. That notification contains the transaction number, the product, the time
and the country — nothing that lets us identify you as a person. We use it only
for our revenue statistics.
Legal basis: performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, and our
legitimate interest in business analysis, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
6. Feedback and bug reports
From the menu you can report a bug or send a suggestion. Only then does the app
transmit to our server api.peppertools.de:
- your message
- your selected language
- the app version, operating system version and device model
- a random device identifier so that you find your own reports again and we can
reply to you
We do not ask for your name or email address. Please do not put personal details
into your message.
Retention: We delete reports 24 months after they are closed.
Legal basis: legitimate interest in improving the app, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
7. Leaderboards, achievements and cloud save
If you voluntarily sign in to Apple Game Center or Google Play Games, the app
sends your scores and achievements to that service.
Cloud save: While you are signed in, the app automatically backs up your
save game (progress, unlocks, best times and coins) to your player account —
on iOS through Game Center and iCloud, on Android through Google Play Games
saved games. After a device change or a reinstall, the app restores your save
game from there. The data lives in your account with Apple or Google. We do
not run a server for this and have no access to it.
Legal basis: performance of a contract at your request, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Apple and Google are responsible for these services, not us. Without signing
in, everything stays on your device.
8. Transfers outside the EU
Google and Apple also process data in the United States, based on the European
Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU-US Data
Privacy Framework.
9. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13. We label it accordingly towards
the ad networks and allow only ads rated suitable for teenagers.
10. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing,
data portability and objection. You can withdraw consent at any time with effect
for the future. Write to support@peppertools.de.
You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
Reset or delete your advertising ID:
- Android: Settings > Google > Ads
- iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking
11. Users in the United States
If you live in a US state with its own privacy law, such as California, the app
shows you an additional prompt. It lets you opt out of sharing your data for
personalised advertising. You can change that choice at any time in the app
settings under Privacy settings.
12. Changes
We update this policy when the app changes. The version on this page applies.
